4月9日（火）建物工事の影響により、地下2階展示室にて開催中の「コレクション２　身体———身体」の開催を中止し、会期途中で終了することといたしました。会期中のイベントも開催を中止いたします。展示室内の安全確認に万全を期すため、今後のコレクション展の開催時期は未定となっております。
また地下1階講堂も使用できませんので、ご了承ください。
ご来館のお客様にはご迷惑をおかけしますこと、深くお詫び申し上げます。
なお、特別展「古代メキシコ －マヤ、アステカ、テオティワカン」は通常通り開催しております。
また、カフェ及びミュージアムショップもご利用いただけます。

【「コレクション２　身体———身体」の会期途中終了について】

先日お知らせしましたとおり、「コレクション２」は4月7日（日）をもって会期途中で終了することとしました。
4月9日（火）朝、地下１階講堂及び地下2階コレクション展示室内の一部に、漏水が発生したためです。地上階で実施している工事の影響と考えられますが、未だ漏水の原因は判明しておらず、調査を続けています。
この状況に鑑み、地下１階講堂及び地下2階コレクション展示室を閉鎖、「コレクション２」は会期途中ではありますが終了し、講堂で開催予定の各種イベントも中止することとしました。
展示中の作品、保管している作品、いずれにも被害はありません。
今後の地下2階展示室におけるコレクション展の開催時期は未定ですが、来館者の皆様と作品の安全に万全を期してまいります。
ご来館の皆様、「コレクション２」の観覧を予定されていた皆様には大変申し訳なく、重ねてお詫び申し上げます。

Collection 2: Body—Body Exhibition Suspended

On the morning of Tue., April 9, a water leak occurred in the Lecture Hall (B1F) and the B2F gallery housing the collection exhibition. The leak is believed to be related to construction work that was carried out on the first floor. An inspection is currently underway to determine the exact cause.

In view of the circumstances, the Collection 2 exhibition has been suspended along with all of the events scheduled to be held in the Lecture Hall.

None of the works on display or stored in the museum suffered any damaged in the leak.

An exact date for the next collection exhibition has yet to be determined. We would like to extend our sincere apologies to all of those who were planning to visit the Collection 2 exhibition.

The special exhibition, Ancient Mexico: Maya, Aztec, and Teotihuacan, has not been affected by the incident and remains on view. The cafe and museum shop are also operating as usual.

Visitors to the Ancient Mexico exhibition will receive a complimentary ticket to a future collection exhibition that is valid until the end of March 2025.

Viewers who pre-purchased tickets to the Collection 2 exhibition via e-tix or Klook are eligible for a refund.
