Travelers: Stepping into the Unknown

January 21 – May 6, 2018

This special exhibition is designed to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the National Museum of Art, Osaka, which opened in 1977. Through the works of more than 30 Japanese and foreign artists, the exhibition will shed light on various aspects of our society by examining things that have been imbued with time, history, and memory from a wide range of views. It will also consider the future potential of the museum.
