The National Museum of Art, Osaka (NMAO) moved to Nakanoshima in Central Osaka in 2004. As a museum dedicated to the dissemination of contemporary art, since its opening in 1977 NMAO has been actively engaged in various programs to present both domestic and overseas contemporary art and art-movements.
NMAO Membership provides members with choices and opportunities. Exclusive privileges include free general admission to the museum, free admission to special exhibitions, a 5% discount on purchases in the Museum shop, a 5% discount at the restaurant located in the Museum, a complimentary subscription to the museum's bimonthly publication, and much more!

Unlimited free admission for one to the collection displays at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo; the National Museum of Western Art, Tokyo; and the National Museum of Modern art, Kyoto. Additionally, members are entitled to enter the special exhibitions and the collection displays at the group rate at the Kyoto National Museum; the Nara National Museum; the Museum of Oriental Ceramics Osaka; and the National Museum of Ethnology.*

Individual (Annual fee: ¥5,000 / Student: ¥3,000)

One membership card----Card admits one adult

Dual (Annual fee: ¥8,000 / Student: ¥4,000)

One membership card----Card admits two adults
In addition to regular benefits 1-4 for a regular individual member, one accompanying person is also entitled benefits 1, 3 and 4.

Family plus (Annual fee: ¥10,000)

Multiple membership cards for a family upon advanced registration----Cards admit all registered family members
In addition to regular benefits 1-4 for a regular individual member, registered family members are also entitled to benefits 1, 3 and 4.

Associate (Annual fee: ¥20,000)

One membership card----Card admits one adult
In addition to all regular benefits,

• 20 complementary tickets to NMAO collection displays for one year;
• 2 complementary tickets to each special exhibition at NMAO;
• Special invitations to select exhibition opening receptions at NMAO (including one exchange check for an exhibition catalogue);
• Complementary delivery of 1 poster/handout for exhibitions at NMAO.

Corporate (Annual fee: ¥100,000)

In addition to all regular benefits,

• 100 complementary tickets to NMAO collection displays for one year;
• 10 complementary tickets to each special exhibition at NMAO;
• 5 special invitations to select exhibition opening receptions at NMAO (including five exchange checks for exhibition catalogues);
• Complementary delivery of five 5 posters/handouts for exhibitions at NMAO.

• * Application for membership is accepted at all times of the year.
• * Membership card is valid for one year from the date of issue.
• * Your membership card will be sent to you within 14 days and you can start to enjoy your member benefits immediately.
• * If you apply for a STUDENT membership, please send a copy of your student ID card with your completed application form by postal mail or fax.
• * Issuance of membership card constitutes your receipt.
• * No refunds of membership fees will be made.

Mail or fax your completed application form to the NMAO Membership Office, and remit your annual fee to bank account or postal checking account shown below.
Your membership card will be sent to you after we have confirmed receipt of your annual fee.

2. By registered postal cash envelope

Fill out the application form and send it together with your annual fee by registered postal cash envelope.
Your membership card will be sent to you after we receive your application and payment.

3. By visiting the NMAO

Visit NMAO and become a member in person.
