In the West, the 1980s are remembered as an era marked by a renewed interest in painting.
In general terms, artists focused on reconsidering issues such as expression, interpretation, and production. With paintings of the '80s as a starting point, this edition of the collection exhibition approaches these topics from an even wider perspective.

10:00-17:00 (10:00-20:00 on Fridays and Saturdays).
*Last entry 30 minutes before closing.

Mondays (except Dec. 24, Jan. 14) and Dec. 25, Dec. 28–Jan. 4, Jan. 15.

Admission Fee

Adults: 430 (220) yen, university students: 130 (70) yen.
*( ) admission for groups of more than 20 people.
*Admission free for visitors under 18 years old, senior (65 and over) and mentally or physically disabled people with one attendant.

Night discount on 17:00-20:00 Fridays and 17:00-20:00 Saturdays.
Adults: 250 yen, university students: 70 yen.
 
Free admission days: Nov. 3, Nov.17, Nov.18, Dec 1, 2018 and Jan. 5, 2019.
