The approximately 50 works, primarily oil paintings, will include the legendary altarpiece The Virgin of the Immaculate Conception (making its first appearance in Japan), and a selection of other pieces from over a dozen museums around the world such as the Museo del Prado in Madrid and a number of churches in Toledo.
