In this exhibition, we focus on Japanese art from the end of World War II to the present. In looking back at the major post-war trends in the country, special attention is given to work of the Hangeijutsu ("anti-art") atrtists, who emerged out of the Yomiuri Independent Exhibition, and the Gutai Bijutsu Kyokai.
Included in the exhibition will be work by such artists as Shusaku Arakawa, Tetsumi Kudo, Yayoi Kusama, and Jiro Yoshihara.
