January 16 (Sat.) - March 21 (Mon.,Holiday), 2016
Yuji Takeoka, the subject of a retrospective now underway at the museum, is a German-based Japanese artist whose artistic concepts were influenced by the work of Marcel Duchamp and Donald Judd, and whose style is rooted in artistic foundations such as pedestals, spaces, and colors. In the Collection 2 exhibit, we present a group of works from the museum collection that are based on the five themes, representing various features of Takeoka's work.
